A Gateway to Dreams
According to the annual Anholt City Brands Index, on March 2nd 2008, the city of Sydney was once again voted “the number one city brand in the world”. Sydney was ranked number one ahead of London, Paris, New York and Rome – and there are plenty of good reasons why. Sydney is not only a great tourist destination; it is truly a global city, topping the ranks for beauty, climate and friendliness. Sydney’s population of 3,637,500 is on the increase and China is the 4th largest visiting group in New South Wales, just after the US, New Zealand and the United Kingdom.
Environment
Sydney is the largest city in Australia and is also the most popular Australian city for international visitors. Sydney is famous for her natural harbor, great beaches, exciting nightlife and a spectacular array of food from diverse cultures. Australia’s natural and wildlife preserves are one of the most spectacular in the world, while lush green valleys, national parks and the Blue Mountains are but easily accessible with a comprehensive transport network.
